Welcome to Spotseeker.lk! By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you violate these Terms of Use, Spotseeker.lk reserves the right to terminate your access to the site, restrict future use, cancel your ticket orders, and/or take appropriate legal action.


Terms and Conditions of Service for Customers

We aim to offer you the most modern and advanced event ticket booking platform in SRILANKA, where you can purchase tickets or register for events online. By buying tickets or registering for an event via Spotseeker.lk, you agree to the following terms and enter into a binding agreement with SPOTSEEKER.LK (PVT) LTD, the legal entity behind Spotseeker.lk, including all intellectual property associated with the platform.


Definitions

  1. "SPOTSEEKER" refers to Spotseeker.lk (PVT) LTD, whose registered address is B35/G2 N.H.S. Maligawatta, Colombo 10.
  2. "WEBSITE" refers to the online sales portal www.spotseeker.lk or any other electronic platforms or domains operated by Spotseeker.lk for ticket sales. This includes all associated webpages, subdomains, and components, accessible via personal computers, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, or any other devices capable of accessing the site, whether available now or developed in the future.
  3. "USER" refers to any individual or organization that uses the Website to purchase or attempt to purchase goods or services, including, but not limited to, tickets, delegate passes, vouchers, or any similar products or services offered through the Website.
  4. "ORGANIZER" refers to any individual, partnership, or organization, whether privately or publicly owned, that is responsible for the hosting, promotion, and execution of any event, service, or offering made available for sale to the Customer through the Website.
  5. "EVENT" refers to any type of occurrence, including but not limited to entertainment, educational, business, sports, family, religious, or other categories, for which the Organizer intends to promote, advertise, and sell tickets, passes, vouchers, or similar services to Customers, utilizing the Website as a platform to facilitate the event's promotion.
  6. "TICKET" refers to any form of paid or complimentary entry authorization, which may include a physical printed ticket, voucher, pass, wristband, or similar item, as well as electronic formats such as unique barcodes, QR codes, or reference numbers. These serve to identify the holder as having purchased or received permission to access a specific Event.
  7. "SERVICES" refers to the offerings provided by Spotseeker.lk to the Organizer in relation to the Event. These may include, but are not limited to, advertising and promoting the Event on the Website; providing an online portal that enables Customers to purchase Tickets for the Organizer's Event; delivering the aforementioned Tickets to the Customer through either electronic or physical means as agreed upon by the Organizer and Spotseeker.lk; collecting payments for Tickets purchased by the Customer on behalf of the Organizer; registering Customer information; and any other services provided by Spotseeker.lk to the Organizer as mutually agreed in writing.

Use of the Website

  1. The information you provide during the registration or booking process must be accurate and current.
  2. Providing false information may result in removal from the event and a ban from future use of Spotseeker.lk.
  3. Misuse of the Website, including hacking, uploading malicious software, or unauthorized use of content, is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Ticket Purchase and Payments Policy

Non-Refundable Tickets

Tickets purchased on the Website are non-refundable except under the specific circumstances outlined in the Refunds Policy.

Non-Exchangeable Tickets

Tickets cannot be exchanged except under the limited circumstances specified in the Refunds Policy.

Transfer Restrictions

Tickets may not be transferred to third parties, except to immediate family members or friends of the Customer, and under no circumstances can they be resold for a price higher than the original purchase price. Any attempt to resell Tickets for commercial gain will result in cancellation of the Ticket without refund, and the Ticket will be deemed invalid for entry.

Purchase Through Authorized Channels

Customers are advised to avoid purchasing Spotseeker-branded tickets through secondary ticketing websites, as these tickets may not be valid for entry or could be canceled by Spotseeker.lk.

Proof of Purchase

Spotseeker.lk may require Customers to provide proof of purchase upon entry to the event. Acceptable forms of identification include an original photo ID (passport, driver's license, national ID card) and/or the original credit/debit card used to purchase the tickets. If multiple tickets are purchased, all attendees must enter the event together with the Customer.

Responsibility for Ticket Safety

Customers are responsible for protecting their tickets from loss or theft. Spotseeker.lk does not replace lost or stolen tickets for such occurrences. This applies to both physical and electronic tickets. If a ticket is stolen or copied and used before the Customer arrives at the event, entry will be denied without refund.

Payment and Ticket Delivery

Payment for tickets is typically required in full at the time of purchase. Upon successful payment, the e-ticket will be issued and can be accessed via a QR code displayed on the screen or sent to the Customer's registered email. Customers can also download the e-ticket from the "My Bookings" section of the website.

Fraudulent Payments

If a ticket is purchased fraudulently, such as using a stolen credit/debit card, Spotseeker.lk reserves the right to cancel the ticket without refund.

Event Quality and Responsibility

Spotseeker.lk serves as a ticketing platform and is not responsible for the quality, content, or organization of the events. Organizers are fully responsible for the execution of the event.

Event Entry Restrictions

It is the Customer's responsibility to check for any event entry restrictions (e.g., age or dress code) before purchasing tickets. Spotseeker.lk will not be held liable, nor will it provide refunds, if entry is declined due to such restrictions or any other reason determined by the Organizer.

Right to Refuse Entry

Organizers and venue management reserve the right to refuse admission without providing a reason. Spotseeker.lk does not take responsibility to the Customers who are refused entry or removed from the event.


Ticket Usage Policy

Entry Restrictions

It is the Customer's responsibility to verify any entry restrictions for the Event, such as age limits or dress codes, prior to purchasing a Ticket on the Website. Entry may be refused by the Organizer or venue management for reasons including, but not limited to, failure to comply with dress codes, age restrictions, or any behavior deemed dangerous, disruptive, or unlawful.

Compliance with Rules

All tickets are issued subject to the specific Rules and Regulations of the venue and the Event. It is the Customer's obligation to familiarize themselves with and adhere to these Rules and Regulations before purchasing a Ticket.

Right to Refuse Entry

The Organizer and venue management reserve the right to refuse admission and conduct security searches to ensure the safety and security of the Event at any time.

No Re-entry Policy

Many venues enforce a strict “no re-entry” policy. If the Customer leaves the venue during the Event, re-entry may not be permitted using the original Ticket. Customers are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the re-entry policy of the specific Event.

Prohibited Items

The Organizer or venue management may restrict items allowed into the Event, including but not limited to food, beverages, cameras, video/audio recording devices, seating, selfie sticks, and items considered unlawful, hazardous, or dangerous. Customers are encouraged to check these restrictions before attending.

Liability for Lost Items or Injuries

Spotseeker.lk, the Organizer, and venue management accept no liability for lost or stolen items or for any injury incurred at the Event.

Photographic and Recording Equipment

The use of unauthorized photographic and recording equipment may be prohibited at the Event. It is the Customer's responsibility to check with the Organizer and venue about any restrictions prior to attending the Event.

Ticket Transferability

Tickets are for personal use and may only be transferred to immediate family members or friends. Tickets cannot be resold at a price higher than their original purchase value. Spotseeker.lk reserves the right to cancel any ticket that is resold for profit, without providing a refund.


Attendance at the Event

Punctuality

It is the responsibility of the Customer to attend the Event on time. Late arrivals may be refused entry by the Organizer or venue management, with no entitlement to a refund.

Last Admission Time

Many events have a designated “last admission” time, which is earlier than the event's end time. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure they arrive before this last admission time, as late entry may be refused.

Ejection from the Event

If a customer is ejected from the Event for any reason by the Organizer, its agents, or venue security, they will not be entitled to a refund under any circumstances.

Consent to Being Recorded

By purchasing a Ticket through Spotseeker.lk, the Customer agrees to be photographed, filmed, or recorded by the Organizer, venue management, or any third party acting on their behalf at the Event or its surroundings. Furthermore, the Customer waives any rights to the use of such photographs, videos, or audio recordings (“Recorded Material”), allowing the Organizer, venue management, or any third party to use them without restriction or recompense.


Refunds Policy

Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are only available under the following circumstances and can only be requested in writing to the Event Organizer.

  1. The event is canceled.
  2. The main artist or performer is unable to perform.
  3. The event is postponed. In this case, Customers may use their original ticket for the rescheduled date.

Refund Request Process

Customers must apply for refunds directly to the event organizer in writing in the event of cancellation. Spotseeker.lk is not responsible for handling or processing refunds.

Non-Refundable Situations

The following conditions are not valid reasons for a refund:

  1. Minor changes in performance times or durations.
  2. Changes to supporting acts or artists.
  3. Dissatisfaction with the event, including performance quality or technical issues.

Event Cancellations or Changes

Any cancellations, postponements, or venue changes are determined solely by the event organizer. Spotseeker.lk is not responsible to issue refunds for such changes; however, Customers may request a refund directly from the organizer.

No Refund for Minor Changes

Small changes to the event's schedule, lineup, or performance length will not justify a refund.


Note

Spotseeker.lk will only process or issue refunds if an error occurs on our part, and the refund will be credited back to the original payment method. All other refund requests must be submitted in writing to the event organizer.
